-
Do you offer consultations?Yes. Consultations are free and recommended. You will meet with Ethan on a set day and time for approximately 30 minutes in order to review your vision as well as its location, sizing, and details. If your tattoo appointment isn’t already booked, your tattooist will schedule you by the end of your consultation. *Deposits will be required for larger art pieces.
-
How much will my tattoo cost? The cost of your tattoo will all depend on its size, location, amount of detail, and the time needed to complete it. For larger projects, pricing is determined by the length of the session and whether or not the tattoo is black & grey or color. Sessions are priced according to Ethan's hourly rate, which can vary anywhere between $100-$150 an hour.

-
How about cover ups?Yes. If you have a piece that you are no longer a fan of, Ethan would be happy to make it into something you’re thrilled about.
-
I have been feeling a little sick, can I still get a tattoo? If you are sick, please stay home. Ethan and his current clients value their health as well as the health of their families, so we do not want to be in close contact with anyone sick for hours at a time. If you are unwell we will reschedule your appointment and give you priority in our schedule in order to get you in as soon as possible once you are feeling better. Ethan reserves the right to cancel your appointment on the spot if you show up for your tattoo visibly unwell.
-
I feel fine, but I am still on antibiotics. Should I still come in for my appointment? The use of antibiotics shortly before getting your tattoo or during the healing stage will likely affect the integrity of the tattoo and is not recommended. Consult with your physician but try and avoid taking antibiotics within 30 days before and 30 days after getting a new tattoo, if possible.
-
What should I bring to my tattoo appointment? If you are a new client, please bring a government-issued photo ID (license, state ID, passport, etc.) with you to your first appointment. Please bring any reference material with you or upload here. The day of your tattoo appointment, please bring anything your artist requested of you at your consultation. Feel free to bring your headphones, a tablet, book, magazine, bottle of water/any other non-alcoholic beverage with a lid, and snacks if desired.
-
What can I do in preparation for my appointment? Please do not drink alcohol or use any type of blood thinning OTC medication (such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin) within 24 hours of your appointment. Please refrain from sun exposure/tanning beds the 2 weeks prior to (as well as the 2 weeks after) your appointment. Get a good rest the night before, eat a full meal, and drink lots of water before coming in. We also recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that will limit obstruction to the area which Ethan will be tattooing.
-
Does it hurt? Do you offer any numbing or anesthetic?Pain threshold varies by person. But typically yes, getting a tattoo does hurt. The pain is manageable but some areas are more sensitive than others. We highly recommend applying a numbing product to these areas and allowing it to set prior to coming in for your appointment. Ethan also sprays Lidocaine when he is able to.
-
Should my skin be perfectly clear? The clearer, the better. Dry, chaffed, sunburned, irritated, and/or broken out skin will not tattoo well and will ultimately hinder the quality of your tattoo once healed. If you are suffering from any type of skin issue, we may ask you to choose another area to have us tattoo or reschedule your appointment.
-
Do you use vegan-friendly products?Yes! Ethan only uses Fusion Tattoo Ink which offers a high pigment load, no filler ingredients, and a wide array of hues to choose from, "Fusion Ink is a smooth, consistent, organic, vegan ink that's made for all styles of tattooing."
-
How do I take care of my new tattoo?Taking care of a fresh tattoo is as important as making sure your tattoo artist works cleanly. Proper aftercare is crucial for reducing your chances of a negative reaction such as infection and making your tattoo look as good as possible, for as long as possible. Ask Ethan any questions you may have regarding your job, your workout routine, pets or anything else that you may affect your tattoo. You will want to keep your tattoo clean, free of heavy sweating, and moisturize it frequently with a scent-free moisturizer. Avoid exposing it to the sun, submerging it in water, and tight clothing that may stick to or rub the fresh tattoo. Ethan will cover your tattoo with Saniderm or a similar alternative for the best results. He will advise you on how long to keep the transparent bandage on after your visit.
